Mission:
The “Feeling Pretty and Healing” volunteer make-over program is designed to empower women living with a chronic illness. Founder, Nacole Gray herself, hospitalized in 2010 knows from first-hand experience the ins and outs of the healing process. Now, she incorporates her background as a style expert to help women encountering similar obstacles. As part of the healing process, women who have been recently hospitalized are gifted with a complimentary day of styling and pampering in efforts to fuel their road to recovery. At an imperative juncture in their life, our goal is to help our makeover-ees feel capable and confident as well as incorporate normalcy back into their lives.
Program:
Acclaimed fashion blogger and Los-Angeles based fashion stylist, Gray offers a full day of complimentary styling and a beauty makeover to recipients of the program— which targets females in need of healing, support and a major self-esteem boost. The makeover includes a one-on-one shopping session with Gray at a local boutique courtesy of a donated gift card, followed by a manicure/pedicure, blow out and professional make-up application. Where? In Beverly Hills for the ultimate memorable experience. After the endless lab tests, needles, IV's, DR. visits and exhausting hospital stay, our recipients not only deserve a major day of pampering, but this day will help them face the rest of their life living with a chronic illness.

Trust me, I know all about it. However, something usually so surface level can ultimately take on a deeper meaning and make a dramatic change in our life. You will feel ready to enter the world again, to face the challenges of living with an illness. Whether that means getting ready to interview for a job after being on disability, having a long over-due date night or going out with friends or family, this will be a happy stepping stone (one which is majorly needed after what feels like a few tough steps back).
